![]() Besides, the Newark Liberty Airport is only a half-hour drive from the hotel. The 34th Street Hudson Yards subway stop is close to the hotel's doorstep. A convenient way to explore the city is the subway. You will likely hop on a cab in such a location, but other options exist. Nearby attractions include the High Line, the Javits Center, and the Sports Club New York - Chelsea Piers. It has several celebrity chef eateries and luxury boutiques already open. Although still under construction, it continues to evolve. The location is ideal as Hudson Yards, one of New York's most ambitious neighborhoods, is a mammoth development along Manhattan's Westside. Just across Thomas Heatherwick's futuristic landmark, the Vessel, the modern iron and steel structure is neatly tucked between 11th Avenue and 33rd Street. In New York's flash new development, Hudson Yards, the Equinox hotel is located at the coveted 33 Hudson Yards address. ![]() Therefore, stay at this striking facility in Hudson Yards if you rest and play as hard as you work and want to realize your true potential. A concept by the eponymous gym empire, this resort promises a high-performance living and fitness experience. If you value your workouts though and don't mind a minimalist esthetic, this might fit your style.Unlike most hotels focusing on reservations, Equinox Hotel New York is a gleaming temple of fitness, health, and well-being. While I thought the staff was great and the room was nice, this hotel just had a cold and sterile feel. I noticed a lot of athletes there - the gym obviously is a big focus of this hotel. On the plus side, the room was sleek and had a great view, and the shower was amazing with very high-end products. After being told there were no tables for a drink there, we seated ourselves and carried our own drinks to the "reserved table." Very strange. The rooftop bar is a no go, as all the tables were reserved the whole time we were there, even though nobody was ever seated at the reserved tables (as a hotel guest, this was very annoying). The restaurant is nice, but it is one floor below the 25th, so again - not easy to slide in and have a drink like you would in a hotel with a lobby. Anytime you want to leave your room you are two elevator rides away. After check in you take another smaller elevator up to your room. Here are the misses: you enter the hotel from a narrow entrance into a dark elevator bank (there isn't a lobby). This hotel might be a fit for some, but for me it was missing the warmth and luxury of a five star hotel. Thank you Team Equinox for a wonderful weekend!… From Hudson Yards we leisurely walked the High Line which meanders through the Westside of the City and connects Hudson Yards with the Meatpacking District-where we were able to explore more restaurants and entertainment options. The location is outstanding, right in the middle of Hudson Yards where there are plenty of high-end restaurants (we tried Milos-Greece and Mar-Spain) and attractions (we visited the Edge and tried after-hours’ cocktails at Peakaboo). The bespoke design of the sky lobby and the guest room details redefine luxury. The sequence of experience from arrival at the hotel entrance, to the reception lobby, to the guest room, is simply breathtaking. The architectural design, extravagant amenities, and the quality of construction are all testaments to the hotel’s tremendous capacity to distinguish itself. Stunning luxury seems the specific description of this hotel. The entire hotel team was superb and extremely pleasant! The hotel management’s attention to specific details and the staff’s trained ability to provide a luxurious experience takes the Equinox Hotel to a level beyond any other in the world. From the VP of Guest Experience, Nathan Loga, to the bartender at the lounge, Gilbert, the wonderful hotel staff went beyond the highest level of expectations to make us feel special and enjoy our celebration. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying at the Equinox Hotel this past weekend.
